A PSA
2 posts in one day, pretty crazy huh?
Well, after procrastinating on this very blog, I moved on to my other form of procrastination: People.com.
As I voted on whether Kate Hudson or Anouck Lepere wore the sequined Philip Lim minidress better (Kate Hudson) or Scarlett Johansson or Pamela Anderson looked best in their Stella McCartney jumpsuit (neither), I thought, hey, this is fun. I wish I could do this and have it really count for something. Its gratifying to see those bar graphs pop up and know that even though the rest of the People.com world might have thought Lisa Rinna was more beautiful in the Diane von Furstenberg dress, I believed it was Garcelle Beauvais-Nilon who looked best. I stuck to my belief and I voted for her. Part of that 33% is my doing. If only I could make this count beyond the Fashion Face-off.
OH WAIT!!!!
I CAN!!!!
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 7, 2006. I CAN VOTE!
Now, I am not trying to liken electing political leaders to a superficial fashion feud, but I am trying to emphasize the fun that can come from both. If you don’t want leggings and babydoll dresses to be the new winter fashions, then by all means, don’t vote for them. But, if you don’t take the time to express your disgust, and come holiday season you receive 3 pairs of leggings from your uber-trendy friends, don’t complain. You had your chance. Now, while fashion is important, choices for political leaders should be more carefully considered (and examined in a less superficial manner). Therefore, start now and read up. You won’t hear me (read me) say it often, but there are other informative news sources than People, InStyle, and InTouch.
Now I know my sister will be working hard at the polls on Election Day. But, in the off chance, that someone else comes along and reads this, I want to inform you of the importance of Tuesday.
The important thing is that you vote, and I will love you no matter what choice you make. But, if you are unsure of your decision and want to read some unbiased, completley objective materials, you may want to refer to the following sites:
Thank you for your time and HAPPY VOTING!

Speaking of election Tuesday, are they going to cut into GG time with election updates? I mean, still important, but I would just like to be prepared.
omg. i was wondering the same thing.
Actually, I wasn’t wondering that because I don’t believe that the CW recognizes the outside world.
Question: Why wasn’t my first comment trumpeted?
What first comment? I don’t understand your Question:.
It seems that when non-contributors comment for the first time (provided they are not spammers) they are saluted with a post.
