Pop Culture Yay

I don’t really know what that Title is supposed to mean in relation to my post, but I didn’t have anything good.

This is a post of things that happened to me today and random thoughts I’ve had.

- my supervisor said “What are you wearing? I like that smell. It smells, ya know, woodsy”

ummm, thanks? Is that like “Vogue fall fashion shoot in the woods of the Hamptons” woodsy or “I just shot a deer and am wearing bright orange suspenders” woodsy?

- another girl who will not be identified. “Omg, he is on the people.com Sexiest Men list?! I find that really funny…”

I look at her computer screen…….its John Krasinski.

oh. no. she. didn’t.

I said, “I don’t really find it funny at all. I think he is so great. Very attractive, in fact.” Then, I threw a pencil at her head…no not really. But, in my mind I did.

- It should also be noted that unidentified Jim-hata (I mean that the way the ganstas say..not like some sort of name from an ancient language) also is a loud talker. Abnormally loud talker. Hey honey, its not necessary! I can hear ya! And frankly, I don’t quite like what I’m hearing.

I kid. She’s nice. But do turn down the volume darling. If you said the words Divorce Court, I’d swear I was back home with my grandfather’s loud TV set.

- At Starbucks, a man asked if I knew what “bad thumbs” meant. He and colleagues were writing something and apparently it is some new slang for “see ya later.”
