Pop Culture Yay

…I recently received a letter about my poor professionalism. Apparently I have been very slack on my responsibilities to popcultureyay (pcy). Another pcy user has explicitly made that clear. And then, I received this letter.

Dear Lindsay,

Since the commencement of prinicipal posting on PopCultureYay.com, you have frequently failed to arrive on time to blog. Today, you did not show up to blog (all day). I am now told that you do not plan to blog tomorrow because you “don’t check your bloglines.” You and your representatives have told us that your late blogs and absences from blogging have been the result of apathy; today we were told it was the result of “confusion” and “forgetting your password.” We are all aware that your ongoing all night heavy TV watching is the real reason for your “apathy and confusion.” We refuse to accept bogus excuses for your behavior.

To date, your actions on PCY have been irresponsible, discourteous, and unprofessional. You have acted like a spoiled child and in doing so have alienated several of your fellow bloggers and endangered the quality of this website. Moreover, your actions have resulted in hundreds of thousands of lost blogs and comments. We will not tolerate these actions any further.

If you do not honor your PCY commitments, including your scheduled blog time for tomorrow, and any blog times thereafter, we will hold you personally accountable. This means in addition to pursuing full monetary damages, we will take such other actions as we feel necessary to preserve the integrity of the PCY Production. I urge to take this letter seriously and conduct yourself professionally.
