Yeah, I watch a lot of TV and read magazines…
but I also go to museums…when they have exhibits about magazines.
And coming soon to MoMA: An exhibit of the George Lois Esquire covers, including Andy Warhol drowning in a can of tomato soup and Muhammad Ali as a martyr.
I was reminded of this great article in Vanity Fair last year about Esquire in the ’60s and ’70s. It’s long but worth reading if you’re a magazine hoarder like me.
