West Beverly High - Back Again
These are my initials thoughts. All in all, I will give the West Beverly crew a few episodes.
Things I think I liked:
1. A Zuckerman zing in the 1st 5 minutes (I forgot Andrea had that baby!!)
2. Joe E. Tata’s name in the opening credits (nostaligic moment)
3. The opening theme song was as good as it could be without being the original
4. Naomi looks like a cross between Charisma Carpenter on Buffy, Alison Krauss, and Jessie Spano. (I don’t know if this is a good thing or not, so I just stuck it on this list).
5. Ethan looks really hot when it is nighttime.
6. They do the same scans of the fancy cars and school parking lot as they did in the original
Things I think I didn’t like:
1. The Peach Pit! A swanky coffee shop/cafe?? I know they have to change with the times but how about a deli or something?
2. Ok, I really liked the principal but those parents are TOO attractive to be the Walsh Wilson parents. They don’t look like they came from the midwest. The great thing about the Walsh parents was that they looked so parent-y. And, an illegitimate child in the first episode?? Seriously? Jim Walsh would be ashamed!
3. A cheating scandal and drugs in a high school tv pilot - really?
4. Erin Silver goes by Silver. I refuse to call her that? And, didn’t anyone else catch that she got her tatoo when she was like, 12??
5. Ethan doesn’t look hot at school.

And just to clarify, when I say “give them a few episodes” I meant that I will continue watching not that I think they will be cancelled.
You’re only going to watch for a few episodes? I’ve already set the DVR for the whole season.
Isn’t it great how everyone’s kids are the same age? I’m sure that’s how it’ll work out for me too
