SNL with Tim McGraw

I thought SNL was unusually bad last night. The opening sketch was as boring as real C-SPAN and it kind of went downhill from there. The Clear-Rite “commercial” was pretty funny, and the James Bond bit had its moments, but there wasn’t much else that I found memorable. I didn’t get the turkey sketch at ALL, and I hate Bobby Moynihan’s waiter/bartender character. Tim McGraw was better than I would have expected, but he didn’t have much to work with.

I wonder when we’ll start seeing more of the new cast members…

  1. I hear ya! It was reeeeallly bad. I was also somewhat disappointed last week too. Paul Rudd is really funny but most of those skits were lame. That art auction one that was just full of fake blood shooting everywhere….lame. I miss the witty SNL.

That C-SPAN skit went on FOREVER. I kept trying to prompt them while watching. Whenever there was a pause, I would say “Live from New York…” but then they would just keep talking!

  2. Oh God that bartender sketch was the worst. Did not warrant a second chance.

And the Wayne Bodine Bond was AWFUL.

I’m pumped about the new girls though. But I will miss AmyPoehler hard.
