Lautner out, Weitz in for next Twilight installment?

So. Apparently the role of Jacob is being recast for New Moon. Rumored new director Chris Weitz (About a Boy, American Pie) will get involved in that recasting process, I assume, when he starts pre-production ON MONDAY. Because the “blatant rush job” approach to this series worked out so well for Breaking Dawn.

Can someone please explain to me

why the Triwizard Tournament was ever allowed to take place? Super dangerous, and just for sport! I still don’t understand that one.

But first, [...]

Breaking Yawn

My review-ish ruminations are after the jump.

More on the Twilight saga (from, of course, Entertainment Weekly)

EW has a new interview from Comic-Con with the adorable Stephenie Meyer. Click here to see her discuss all things Twilight, Breaking Dawn and more. And marvel at how great she looks! Love the hair and makeup, Stephenie.
[Ed.: WARNING! Lindsay: Do not watch Part 2 of the video! Eclipse spoilers! Stick with parts 1, 2 [...]

One reason for our absence

We’ve been sucked into the readership cult for Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight series. More specifically, I got sucked in, then I hooked Lindsay.
Here are some snippets of the email Lindsay sent to my friend Emily and me after finally she gave in to my nagging and started reading the first book:
Just so you know, I [...]
